Oops & Ohlala: first steps in English
The Oops & Ohlala series offers 2-to-5-year-olds
a first but genuine immersion in a foreign language, thanks to the
pleasure of reading. Oops and Ohlala live toddlers' daily lives: they
get dressed, eat, play, celebrate a friend's birthday... Ohlala speaks
French, Oops answers in English and, of course, they often make a mess
of things, which makes their adventures entertaining.
This month, Christine has made up a very special 'fiche-jeux' (a pedagogical game) to accompany the book Bathtime! Au Bain!. It is free to download here.
Great for pre-primary and primary school, the proposed activity will enable acquisition of 'bathtime' vocabulary and introduction to basic prepositions (sur, sous, dans...).

New Bilingual Books
Bilingual books are a great way to start putting one's French into practise. Two new titles are now on our catalogue, for teenagers and adults. With one chapter in English and the next one in French, students will have to switch languages to find out what happens next!
Secret Passage is a brand new title from the Dual Books series. Every summer, Amy and Scotty spend their holidays in the South of
France, with their parents. But this year is different: they are moving
into the old fortified castle of the village. With their French
friends, Camille and Julien, they discover a secret passage in the
castle that goes to... the 15th century!
A great title for high school students learning French.
I Love Paris is Talents Hauts' first bilingual books for adults and upper high school students. Pierre, a single father, is hosting his daughter's American pen-pal,
Michelle, for a stay in Paris. Pierre's daughter is away, studying in
Bordeaux. But when
Michelle arrives from New York, Pierre's confusion begins: Michelle is
much older than his daughter... and she's single.
Reading their intimate (and funny) journals, we watch Pierre and
Michelle's relationship grow – against great cultural and gender odds!

French Magazine & Press Subscriptions
Le Forum now offers subscriptions to all French press.
So what best than to help your students engage with contemporary French while regularly receiving magazines they will love and devour?
Subscribe your school or class to a French magazine or newspaper and buy it up to 10% cheaper than what you could buy directly from France (discount included in the prices on our website).
There is something for every age! We recommend for primary school students the magazines Papoum and Pirouette. For high school students, we recommend Le Petit Léonard, Le journal des enfants, Le monde des ados, Les p'tites sorcières and Jeune et Jolie.
